Use

Cleaning: Because Onya drink bottle lids are BPA free, they should be washed by hand and not put in the dishwasher. Washing them in the dishwasher may cause breakage. 

Leakage: Always keep in mind that Onya drink bottle lids have moveable parts and are not 100% leak proof. Generally leaks only occur if bottles are left on their side or upside down in a bag, or if the lid is in a closed position in a hot car. Leaks are usually negligible, however if you need a 100% leakproof lid, we recommend using the screw top lid only. 

Toddlers: Onya drink bottle lids have moveable parts that post a possible choking hazard, so are not recommended for children under the age of 3. 

Lid Compatability: Due to changes in bottle design, these lids may not be compatible with your Onya drink bottle if it was made in 2014 or earlier.  The screw-top lid, however, is suitable for all Onya bottles of all ages, as it has a universal thread.
